NET-A-PORTER are now seeking a talented Assistant Personal Shopper to join the team. Some of the essentials for you to know are:

Location: Our office in New York

Department Size: 35 (Approx.)

Reporting into: Personal Shopping Assistant Manager

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:


  • Resolve all daily order issues, returns, stock discrepancies etc
  • Liaise with all relevant departments to resolve issues promptly and follow up until completion
  • Manage all aspects of administration for designated Personal Shoppers (x2)
  • Escalate complaints to the Personal Shopping Assistant Manager
  • Support the Personal Shopper to close sales
  • Help with creating dedicated emails for our customers with product images, product details, and pricing
  • Outline the service benefits to unengaged customers and make sure the Personal Shoppers follow up with an email/phone call
  • Create customer profiles for the team in order to offer the right product
  • Ad-hoc stock search and check stock levels of key products
  • Help the Personal Shopper with stock requests for internal and external customers’ appointments
  • Arrange samples to be sent to head office in Westfield and help with the setting up and clearing of our EIP fitting rooms
  • Organise and check stock for consignment deliveries to key customers
  • Assist with events set up, participation and take down
  • Process orders, pre-orders and reservations of product when needed
  • Look after a Personal Shopper’s customers when on holiday/absent
  • Customers list admin maintenance


The type of person we are looking for:


  • Previous experience in a luxury sales and customer facing environment (preferable)
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • A flexible, positive and a keen team player
  • Strong interest in Fashion
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and oral- additional languages are always desirable)
  • Computer literacy, with experience and prowess across Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Understanding of brand
  • Proficient in In-design
  • Ability to build positive and influential internal relationships with other teams, to ensure support with prompt resolution of issues


Compensation for this role ranges from $18.46/hr. -$23.08/hr. Salary is negotiable based on skills and experience.
