Position Summary

Assists with coaching, teaching, instructing, planning and recruiting for the women’s and men’s swim program.

Essential Functions

  • Coaches, teaches, and instructs individual skill development to student-athletes.
  • Assists in the recruiting of quality student-athletes within the University, Atlantic 10 and NCAA policies.
  • Attends all practices, home and away meets.
  • Assists the head coach with the administrative operations of the swim program as needed.
  • Fully complies with all University policies and procedures, NCAA , and Atlantic 10 rules and regulations.
  • Attends fund raising events upon request to support the program.
  • Promotes program through social media.
  • Assists the head coach in aquatics/lifeguard supervision.
  • Performs ther duties as assigned.

Additional Functions

Required Qualifications: Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 2-4 years coaching experience.

Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and written/oral communication skills.
  • Understanding and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Docs, and proficient in social media.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Starting Salary $46,500

Maximum Starting Salary $51,500
