The Assistant Leasing Manager is responsible for supporting the training and management of the leasing team. Promote a positive, energetic, and team-oriented work culture and keep the office running smoothly in a fast-paced service business.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assists Leasing Manager and Director of Leasing in the execution of established leasing policies and procedures.
- Assist with training and on-boarding leasing consultants on the workflow process, lead intake, tours, phone calls, lead management, Macforce procedures, and all communication with potential residents.
- Work with the Leasing Manager to develop individual monthly sales goals that directly align with or exceed company projections. Evaluate goals weekly with staff and adjust as needed.
- Assists the Leasing Manager in monitoring team activities in Macforce and ensure company standards/policies are met.
- Assist with reviewing, approving, and executing new leases on property owner’s behalf.
- Responsible for conducting office opening and/or closing procedures, employee scheduling, lead shift, and timecard approval.
- Conducts regular inspections of model and vacant units to identify areas in need of cleaning or maintenance and items in need of repair. Prepares work orders, as necessary.
- Fill in as needed for tours, leasing calls, processing applications and all applicable leasing consultant duties.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree and one (1) to two (2) years of related training or experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Microsoft office proficiency & previous Salesforce experience required.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Superior attention to detail, organizational and follow-up abilities.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities. Proactive and deadline oriented.
- Ability to interact effectively with residents, vendors, and employees at all levels of the Organization.
- Patience and the ability to react to stressful situations in a professional manner.
- Valid vehicular driver’s license, vehicle, and acceptable driving record
