OB SUMMARY: Assist the principal in the supervision of the building’s educational
program including all teaching, administrative, clerical, and support staff members
assigned to the building. Ensure that the programs and policies of the school board are
carried out in an efficient and uniform manner.

- Provide visionary leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives that promote academic excellence, student achievement, and holistic development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Lead and support faculty and staff through effective communication, professional development, and collaboration.
- Oversee curriculum development, implementation, and assessment to ensure alignment with state standards and best practices.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and community stakeholders.
- Manage school operations, including budgeting, scheduling, and facilities management, to ensure efficient and effective functioning.
- Implement and enforce school policies and procedures to maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
- Collaborate with district administration and participate in district-wide initiatives and committees.
- Serve as an advocate for students, addressing their needs and concerns with empathy and understanding.
- Stay informed about educational trends, research, and legislation to inform decision-making and promote continuous improvement.
- Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field (Doctorate preferred).
- Valid Pennsylvania administrative certification/license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational leadership, preferably in a high school setting.
- Proven track record of successful leadership, including evidence of improving student achievement and fostering a positive school culture.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of educational technology and its integration into instruction.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
- Submission of pre-employment medical examination (Section 148 of the Pennsylvania School Code).
- Submission of a report of criminal history record from the Pennsylvania State Police (Section 111 of the Pennsylvania School Code).
- Submission of a clearance report from the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare in accordance with Act 151 of 1994.
- Submission of the FBI Criminal History Record in accordance with Act 114 of 2006
- Submission of sexual misconduct/abuse disclosure release form in accordance with Act 168 of 2014.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
- Able to walk and move around the school building frequently, including walking long distances, climbing stairs and standing for extended periods of time.
- Able to raise or lower objects from one level to another.
- Able to carry objects (up to 20 lbs.) in arms or by other appropriate means.
- Able to use hands and arms to reach and pick up objects.
- Able to travel inside or outside the District as necessary for work related tasks.
