The Job:

As an Assistant Graphic Designer, you’ll be part of our Internal Communications team working as a virtual employee. You’ll get to:

• Create and execute site design standards (including mock-ups, preparation of files, etc.) while adhering to Brand, Safety and Legal guidelines and standards.
• Fulfill requests for creative design work for branding and communications.
• Assist in ideation for development of new site and communication designs and tools.
• Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects from start to finish (layout, proofing, and pre-press) while balancing tight deadlines.
• Involvement in problem solving, process enhancements and quality control within the department.
• Collaborate with support teams in various locations in Asia, Latin America, and Europe.
• Coordinate with outside vendors supporting print, design, and web tools and resources.
• Work with communications to align messaging that will be front and center to our hourly employee population up to executive level.
  
  
  

The Person:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in graphic design preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a large organization.
• Proficiency in all applicable MAC software (Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, InDesign and After Effects).
• Experience working with corporate functions and professional communications in addition to creative experience to take internal comms to a creative platform for distribution.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
