Albion College invites applications for the Assistant Golf Coach. This position supports the Head Golf Coach in all aspects of coaching Albion College’s golf team. This includes (but not limited to) scheduling, conditioning, technique training and mental preparation. In addition, the position also works closely with Admissions in recruiting students. This position will also have other duties assigned by the Director of Athletics that may include game management, student athlete welfare, or other functions necessary to ensure the management of a successful athletic department and golf program. This position will actively promote diversity, belonging and equity through critical and compassionate communication and strategic outreach efforts to various students, faculty and staff (e.g., historically under-represented, first-generation, undocumented and DACA students, LGBTQ students).

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
1 to 2 years experience coaching at the varsity high school level or higher; or 4 to 5 years of combined experience as a NCAA golfer and competitive coach
Must have a valid, or be eligible to obtain, a Michigan driver’s license, clearing initial and periodic driving record checks, and become an approved driver at the College
