Assistant Fund Controller

Our client is a high growth private equity fund that invests in middle market technology and healthcare companies and allows for exposure to all different aspects of the finance vertical.

• Oversight of all aspects of fund accounting and financial reporting, reporting into the CFO
• Assist with the quarterly valuation process and preparation of materials for Valuation Committee
• Assist with investor requests
• Fund performance reporting and calculations
• Financial statement review
• Ability to correspond with Portfolio Company CFOs/ Controllers
• Review carried interest allocations and waterfall calculations
• Various ad hoc reporting requests and special projects; reviewing and modifying accounting/financial systems, procedures, and processes, as necessary

Requirements

• 6-7 years of public accounting and private fund accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required
• CPA is preferred
• Close-ended fund accounting experience is required
