Join us for a delicious adventure! Fever is looking for an Assistant General Manager to assist in the operations of Candytopia! – an immersive indoor experience in Scottsdale Arizona. This is a part-time, seasonal position expected to run mid-July 2024 to early January 2025.
As our AGM, you’ll help bring to life the imaginative candy wonderland of Candytopia – assisting the GM to lead our team of Brand Ambassadors in welcoming guests with high energy, big smiles, and tasty treats.
Responsibilities include:
Under the direction of the General Manager, execute day-to-day Candytopia! operations, establishing and maintaining a positive, high energy work environment.
On-site management and operations of the experience, located in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Fill in for General Manager in times of absence.
Provide break coverage for Candytopia Brand Ambassador and Retail team members.
Follow the processes for a smooth daily run of the experience and continuous maintenance of the experience standards.
Work with the General Manager to draft work schedules / onboard new team members, develop, and manage a system for storage and inventory of retail stock and supplies and send replenishment requests as needed.
Effectively comm unicate to all Guests, Candytopia team members, & contracted vendors.
Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and safety in the venue, especially in all COVID-related safety procedures.
Handle any problems/special requests from guests.
Handle guestlist and assist with guests check-in procedures.
Assist with daily and weekly reporting on issues to management.
Schedule & Pay:
The contract will run approximately 6 months, starting in late June and running through the first weekend of January 2025.The experience is expected to operate five days a week afternoons/evenings with longer hours on Saturdays. The experience will be closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The schedule could vary based on ticket sales.
Rate: Will be discussed during the interviewing process.
Required Skills:
You have 1+ year of management team experience for an experiential pop-up event, amusement park, hospitality, or retail establishment with high foot traffic.
Must have experience in using Google Drive and the Google suite of applications including Sheets, Word, Google Meetings.
You are internally motivated with a high energy profile.
You are a strong leader used to engaging with the public and managing staff.
You can work autonomously and at your initiative
You have excellent communication skills
Exceptional observation skills.
You know how to plan your own time appropriately to maximize business performance
You are legally allowed to work in the US
You are based in the Greater Scottsdale area
