About The Role
Assistant Editors are responsible for initiating, opening and closing projects. This role requires someone who is highly organized and has excellent attention to detail. Candidates must have intermediate experience in DaVinci Resolve and Pro Tools.
What You'll Do
Uploading and downloading prep, source materials, and assets from Aspera, Box, and WireDrive.
File management on internal production network.
Setting up projects and prepping for the post-finishing team.
Transcoding and ingesting features, dailies, and marketing materials.
Asset management and archiving of projects to LTO.
QC all deliverables
Support Sound team as needed (Checking Audio Preps, Light Track Prep)
Qualifications
Computer skills required: Da Vinci Resolve (Intermediate to Advanced), Pro Tools (Intermediate), Cloud storage/transmission, Aspera/WireDrive/Box, Premiere/Avid, Microsoft Office Suite, G-suite
Audio experience a PLUS
Knowledge of video and audio formats; Theatrical, Broadcast, and Digital
Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university desired, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
