Community Unit School District 308 is seeking an outstanding educational leader to serve as the Assistant Director of Special Education, beginning July 15, 2024. This is a full-time, 220-day position.
Qualified applicants are required to have a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with a Director of Special Education Endorsement or General Administrative endorsement and at least one of the following endorsements: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1 ), Speech and Language Pathologist (non-teaching), School Social Worker, or School Psychologist.
The recommended candidate for this position will receive a regionally competitive starting salary depending on educational background and experience. A comprehensive benefits package including Board-paid TRS and THIS contributions, five weeks paid vacation per year, and 80% district-paid medical (including 100% reimbursement for non-emergency care at Rush affiliated providers on our PPO & HCA plans) and dental insurance.
