Pay: $35,000 - $42,000 per year (Pay range may vary based on geographic location)

Job Summary: Assistant Director of Athletics

  • Assist in the coordination of the management of home athletic contests for men’s and women’s soccer, softball, baseball, and lacrosse with a chance of being the primary game day administrator
  • Help manage all athletic facilities on campus including the Southwell Complex, Koepke Fitness Center, R. Marvin Owens Field, and the Game Hut.
  • Help coordinate, maintain, and publish monthly comprehensive schedules outlining all athletic and recreational events.
  • Hire, train, and supervise department’s student employees as needed
  • Help coordinate with Plant and Facilities Office the proper upkeep and maintenance of all recreation facilities and equipment.
  • Full job responsibilities will be finalized around candidates skill set and experience
  • Other duties assigned that involve Athletic department events


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • Administrative and/or media experience at the collegiate level


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in related field.
  • Two years athletic administrative experience at the collegiate level
  • Experience in social media management, creative media, and/or marketing
  • Experience developing social media calendars
  • Video and photography experience
