Job Description

As the Assistant Director of Art Education, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of student experiences at our school. Collaborating closely with our team of instructors, you will uphold our school's culture and ensure that the educational outcomes are truly dynamic.

Position Highlights

Lead weekly classes in digital art, drawing, painting, and mixed media for adults, kids, and teens.

Track project results and document student success and artwork.

Implement art studio management systems to ensure smooth class operations.

Manage art supply ordering, organization, and inventory within budget constraints.

Maintain the digital lab with up-to-date software, hardware, and educational tools.

Monitor and report expenses related to wages and art supplies.

Share key metrics on student retention, attendance, makeups, and satisfaction.

Engage with prospective students to enroll and ensure satisfaction.

Develop strategies to enhance student retention and satisfaction.

Foster one-to-one relationships with students and parents.

Assist in local marketing strategies and community outreach efforts.

Partner with local organizations to exhibit student artwork and promote our brand.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience teaching art classes for kids, teens, or adults.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in Fine Art or Art Education.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to network, collaborate, and build relationships.
