The person hired to be the Assistant Director of Adult Programming will be responsible for fostering partnerships with both internal 92NY staff as well as with external agencies and focused on creating and implementing high level Jewish programming at 92NY.
40 hours per week, typically Monday – Friday, 900 – 600 p.m. with a one-hour unpaid lunch break with flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as required by program schedule.

Compensation Range
$55,000 - $80,000
The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
- Communication, marketing and recruitment of participants and teachers for all current adult classes.
- Create and implement new programs for Adult Jewish Education designed to reach new audiences and engage interested patrons in Jewish learning at a variety of levels.
- Identify unserved target audiences and develop programming to address those patrons.
- Develop goals and Key Performance Indicators for programming success.
- Identify strategic partnerships and foster connections with other agencies.
- Work with Bronfman Center Events and Communications Managers to secure logistics and marketing plans for all adult programming.
- Liaison to internal 92NY departments on behalf of the Bronfman Center – in particular, forging a healthy partnership with the Talks Department.
- Other duties as needed.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Jewish educational or camp setting.
- Track record of successful engagement with patrons and execution of programs.
- Has a strong sense of emotional intelligence and executive functioning skills.
- Clear and effective communicator.
- Experience working in a community-focused environment, with the ability to manage the demands of a diverse group of people with poise, ease, and diplomacy.
- Excellent team player with the ability to work across departments to achieve results.
