Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Designer at Republic Clothing Group. The Assistant Designer will be responsible for assisting in the design process, creating mood boards, developing sketches, and collaborating with the design team. The Assistant Designer will also be involved in fabric and trim sourcing, conducting market research, and assisting in the creation of tech packs.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop
Strong sketching and illustration skills
Knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing processes
Experience creating mood boards and conducting market research
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and a keen eye for color and design
Experience with CAD software and PLM systems is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field is preferred
