The Position

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Controller to assist with the operations of the Financial Services Department.

• Works collaboratively with accounting staff to meet department goals, objective and timelines.
• Evaluate, apply and refine policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Prepare semi-monthly payroll for assigned facilities.
• Coordinate with accounting staff and communities to prepare and submit re-credentialing applications as required by various payors.
• Assist with tax related request.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or combination of relevant education and experience.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial statement preparation, and payroll.
• Four (4) years of financial accounting experience, including supervision of staff.
• Ability to collaborate with representatives from all areas of the Company.
• Public accounting and healthcare experience preferred.
