Assistant Controller

You'll also have the opportunity to build out new processes and procedures and help with an implementation. This is a HYBRID role in the office 2-3 days/week!

Responsibilities:

• Create accurate financial statements and maintain general ledgers through policies and controls
• Drive new initiatives and transformations to improve processes and efficiency
• Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team by setting goals and providing feedback
• Provide accounting guidance to stakeholders and prepare memos for non-routine transactions
• Play a key role in the accounting aspects of business acquisitions
• Manage the financial statement audit engagement to ensure timely completion
• Own and implement account reconciliation policies and processes
• Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 7+ years of accounting experience
• 2+ years of leadership experience
