We're in search of an Assistant Controller with a salary range of $150k plus a 25% bonus structure. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the real estate or private equity industry, with a preference for 7 years. Management experience is required, and candidates with a real estate background or private equity experience will be prioritized. Yardi experience is considered a significant advantage. The Assistant Controller will play a crucial role in overseeing property and/or debt investment accounting staff, managing financial statements preparation, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to manage variable workloads, are essential for success in this role.
