Position Notes

Compensation commensurate with education and experience. Position Information

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of collegiate soccer coaching experience required.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, administrative and recruiting skills sets.
  • Experience with NCAA Rules and Regulations.
  • Ability to be involved with the overall operation of the program, including, but not limited to coaching, recruiting, administration, compliance and student-athlete development.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Valid vehicle operator’s license and a driving record acceptable to the university by the university’s insurance carrier.

Desired Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of collegiate coaching experience.
  • Recruiting experience in Michigan and surrounding region.
  • Knowledge of Advanced Analytics.
  • Understanding of Positional Play Soccer.
  • Master’s degree with education and/or experience in leadership or coaching.

Unless otherwise required by an applicable collective bargaining agreement, all minimum, additional and desired qualifications are preferred, but qualifications, degrees, and/or experience deemed comparable and/or equivalent by Oakland University in its sole and exclusive discretion may be considered.

Position Purpose

Assist in administering an educationally sound competitive soccer program for female student-athletes, within the rules and policies of the Conference and NCAA legislated guidelines.
