Position Information
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
A minimum of one (1) year of collegiate soccer coaching experience required.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal, administrative and recruiting skills sets.
Experience with NCAA Rules and Regulations.
Ability to be involved with the overall operation of the program, including, but not limited to coaching, recruiting, administration, compliance and student-athlete development.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Valid vehicle operator’s license and a driving record acceptable to the university by the university’s insurance carrier.
Desired Qualifications
Three (3) years of collegiate coaching experience.
Recruiting experience in Michigan and surrounding region.
Knowledge of Advanced Analytics.
Understanding of Positional Play Soccer.
Master’s degree with education and/or experience in leadership or coaching.

Unless otherwise required by an applicable collective bargaining agreement, all minimum, additional and desired qualifications are preferred, but qualifications, degrees, and/or experience deemed comparable and/or equivalent by Oakland University in its sole and exclusive discretion may be considered.
