As a Assistant Clinic Director at Opal Autism Centers, you will manage the day-to-day operations of a clinic, ensuring high-quality therapeutic services are delivered to clients with autism. You are responsible for leading a team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), maintaining a caseload, and managing key performance indicators that are crucial to the clinic’s operational success and clinical effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical and Operational Management: Supervise the clinical practice and ensure the delivery of high-standard behavioral health services. Manage clinic operations, aligning with company policies and timelines to ensure smooth functioning across all departments. Maintain a personal caseload, providing direct client services as part of the clinic’s service offerings. Work closely with administrative teams across admissions, recruiting, credentialing, authorizations, billing, and HR to ensure operational cohesiveness and efficiency.

Performance Management: Monitor and drive BCBA and RBT productivity to optimize staff performance and client outcomes. Hold BCBAs accountable for clinical excellence and adherence to billable minimums, ensuring therapeutic goals are met. Reduce client cancellations by analyzing trends and implementing preventive measures. Achieve client admission targets as per budget and operational plans. Ensure efficient scheduling by aligning authorized and delivered service hours. Oversee client admissions within the early intervention program, ensuring adherence to schedules and program goals. Ensure timely conversions of appointments within the center to maintain a seamless flow of client service. Address hiring needs in accordance with client demand, facilitating timely recruitment and training of staff. Manage staff turnover by developing retention strategies and maintaining a motivated workforce. Maintain operational hours as per budget without compromising service quality.

Leadership and Staff Development: Conduct interviews, provide regular feedback with documentation, and perform performance evaluations to foster professional growth and high performance among staff. Develop and maintain a professional and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and communication.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Behavioral Health, or related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required. LBA required if in a state that has a licensing board
  • North Carolina Behavior Analyst Licensure (LBA)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in behavioral analysis, with leadership or management experience in a clinical setting preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams and administrative functions
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills

Physical Requirements:

  • This is a full-time in clinic position requiring 40 hours per week- we do not provide remote services
  • Fluent in the English language
  • Able to learn, demonstrate, and explain physical skills of moderate complexity
  • Physically able to move from a standing position to one knee and back up, without assistance or support
  • Normal functioning and range of motion in arms, legs, hips, wrists, back, neck, etc
  • The role may involve lifting, twisting, pulling, or pushing up to 60 lbs., and adherence to safety protocols and infection control policies
