We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finish Manager to oversee our projects from Drywall to finish and manage post-construction warranties.
Job Summary:
The Finish Manager will collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure that the final phases of construction meet our exacting standards. This role is crucial in maintaining high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in construction or remodeling, demonstrate a 'do whatever it takes' attitude, and excel in customer-facing situations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the completion of multiple homes from Drywall to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest quality.
Oversee warranty service issues to ensure quick and satisfactory resolutions.
Read and interpret blueprints, design books, and collaborate effectively with designers and architects.
Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with vendors and contractors, communicating the company’s quality and performance standards clearly.
Conduct regular site inspections to enforce standards, cleanliness, and safety.
Liaise with governmental and local jurisdictions to ensure all necessary inspections are completed.
Set clear expectations and conduct comprehensive new homeowner orientations and walkthroughs.
Monitor daily construction progress, maintaining detailed logs and reports.
Manage and approve vendor and contractor purchase orders, ensuring costs stay within budget.
Confirm deliveries, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality.
Detailed Job Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or remodeling, with hands-on construction management.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; must be adept at handling complex customer interactions.
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficiency in BuilderTrend is highly preferred; however, training is provided if necessary.
Must be able to work occasional Saturdays and be flexible with schedules as project needs arise.
Smart phone and computer proficiency is essential for this role.
