Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Band Director at South Holland School District 151. The Assistant Band Director will be responsible for supporting the Band Director in all aspects of the band program. This includes assisting with rehearsals, conducting sectionals, organizing performances and concerts, and providing musical instruction and guidance to students.
Qualifications
Music Education and Music skills
Experience in conducting and instructing concert bands
Knowledge of orchestral music and band repertoire
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and parents
Bachelor's degree in Music or related field
Experience in teaching music in a school setting is a plus
