The Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine has an immediate opening for a tenure track faculty position in Veterinary Clinical Pharmacology.

Salary Grade: UC

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Teaching responsibilities will include didactic/clinical training for professional, graduate and technology students enrolled at the College of Veterinary Medicine. Service responsibilities will include provision of clinical pharmacology consultations to CVM clinicians and external veterinarians. For the tenure-track position, establishment of an active record of research and scholarly activity is expected.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent and be eligible for licensure in the state of Mississippi. Diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Clinical Pharmacology is preferred, but residency-trained individuals eligible for final certification examination will also be considered. An advanced degree and/or experience in clinical research are desirable, particularly for the tenure track position.
