Assessment Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pre-Assessment Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have technical hotline call center experience, particularly in diagnostic electrical and warranty issues in the automotive space.

This position will require one onsite meeting per week in Dearborn or Allen Park, and an initial two-week onsite training period, also in Dearborn or Allen Park.

Working schedule is 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and diagnostic assistance to dealership hotline technicians.
• Address and resolve warranty issues for vehicle connectivity systems, such as Ford Sync, Apple CarPlay, etc.
• Handle calls from 12-20 dealership hotline techs, dealing with a variety of technical concerns.
• Communicate effectively with dealers, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and resources to identify and solve problems related to APIM, TCU, and ECG.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in a technical hotline call center. Note that this is not a customer service role.
• Familiarity with Ford Sync diagnostics is highly desirable.
• Strong technical background with diagnostic electrical experience.
• Ability to handle and resolve issues for dealers and technicians.
• ASE certifications are a plus, but not required.
• Experience with APIM, TCU, and ECG is a plus.
