Job Purpose: As an Assembler you will play a crucial role in the production process by assembling various furniture and equipment products according to established specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diversified and intricate assembly operations on a variety of furniture and equipment products.
Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly.
Place parts in specified relationship to each other and secure them using hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment.
Check assembled products for quality and completeness, ensuring adherence to established standards and specifications.
Make adjustments and modifications to assembled products as needed to meet quality standards and customer requirements.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and address any issues or concerns that arise during the assembly process.
Follow all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Maintain good housekeeping in work area to ensure cleanliness and organization.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with others.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and dust.
Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
