We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Lute/Raker Laborer to join our team! If you have asphalt paving experience and are looking to grow your career, we want to speak with you!
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Previous experience in paving and lute/raking is required.
Out of town/county/or state work may be required.
Required to perform daily maintenance on tools and to ensure all tools are stored properly at the end of each shift
Ability to follow traffic control instructions and practice safety standards per company safety policy requirements.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-year experience as a Lute/Raking Laborer.
The Asphalt Lute Person primary function is to use the lute rake to straighten asphalt joints and for hand working areas the paving machine is unable to reach.
The Asphalt Lute Person is required to perform daily maintenance on tools and to ensure all tools are stored properly at the end of each shift.
In addition, the Asphalt Lute Person is expected to assist in the general operation of each job site.
Assist in the loading and unloading of tools and equipment.
General clean up around job site.
Checking and maintaining grade stakes.
Must be able to identify potential hazards and assist in maintaining a safe work environment
