As a Consultant with your Arts education expertise, you will serve as a primary connection between the customer and Courtyardly until the customer makes a purchase.
Who could apply: Arts Ed directors, Education specialists, Arts integration specialists, Arts administrative leaders, creative youth educators, professionals in CTE for AME, with experience and an established network in school districts, colleges or independent arts educational organizations looking to embrace tools & resources for elevating careers.
At this time, we are strictly looking for individuals who have the ability to call in to their existing network.
The ideal candidate believes in our mission of accelerating careers in the Arts and will establish and nurture relationships with key accounts to maximize product traction and purchases. You act as a consultant by developing account strategies that provide the greatest opportunities to drive revenue.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for identifying and promoting/pitching/training/speaking with potential customers to help them learn about Courtyardly’s products and services, leading to successful customer purchases.
a. Customer Acquisition - Responsible for identifying prospective customers, meeting with them and explaining the benefits and value add to them, and establishing sales potential for successful conversions.
b. Customer Engagement – Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, assisting customers in the end-to-end engagement cycle in the purchase decision making by providing them with the appropriate support, answering questions, curating collateral and managing transactions.
c. Product Knowledge– Become an expert in Courtyardly’s product offerings, experience portfolio creation process personally, stay informed about Courtyardly's feature/service updates, and offerings to effectively communicate and demonstrate their value to customers.
d. Sales Strategy – Devise sales tactics as a team, aligned to the overall sales goals of the company.
e. Market Knowledge – Contribute with your Arts Education expertise, provide feedback to team as necessary for maximizing product or service appeal as per market demand, stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to make informed sales strategies.
f. Collaboration - Actively assist team for any help needed with customer insights, brainstorming creative ways to enhance overall customer experience and contribute to the platform’s success. Participate in weekly team/sync meetings as is mutually agreed upon.
g. Reporting & Documentation – Maintain accurate records to track customer engagements and follow ups.
h. Flexibility to dealing with ambiguity – Work in a typical startup company mode, ready to embrace course correction, be a team player, ability to work under pressure Provide general sales support (needs analysis, data review, and product demonstrations)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Arts education
- 3+ years' of consulting or arts integration or experience with arts educational institutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- Huge plus if you are an artist yourself or involved in professional learning, career readiness for students, an arts education specialist working with schools, colleges, etc

b. Excellent judge of who would need the product and why; connecting with key stakeholders and decision makers, leading to efficiency in closing deals and maximizing ROI.
c. Ability to handle multiple conversations at once for establishing consistent sales records, considering steep leads to conversion ratios.
d. Excellent networking, negotiation and persuasive skills
This is a 100% commissioned role with unlimited deals!
