Cleveland Play House is seeking an energizing and constructive Artistic Director – only the tenth AD in its 108-year history – to help co-lead the organization into an invigorating next chapter that builds adventurous creativity from a place of openness, learning, financial stability, and community involvement. Co-leading with the Artistic Director will be an experienced theatre professional, Rachel L. Fink, who was recently appointed as CPH’s next Managing Director. The Artistic Director will be an individual who is collaborative, organizationally minded, and capable of forming positive relationships internally, locally, and nationally. The right candidate will have leadership success in inspiring teams and engaging audiences through supportive culture and dynamic programming. Like many nonprofits, CPH has been grappling with a range of challenges over the past few years; the new AD will have an approach to leadership that fosters transparency, openness, optimism, effective communication, joy, and kindness. With new leadership coming in, CPH is committed to evolving the organizational culture and ensuring an equitable and inclusive work space as well as continuing to reflect and inspire the greater Cleveland community.
