Art Instructor

The Art Base in Basalt is looking for an instructor for 2 one-week collaborative summer art camps in July. The dates are as follows:

July 15 - 19, 2024 - the Art Base

July 22 - 26, 2024 - in Glenwood Springs

9:00am to 4:00pm

Grades 5 – 8

Pay is $32 per hour 

Responsibilities

The instructor, along with an intern, will carry out the lesson plan, manage the classroom and help children with art projects. The camp is in collaboration with the Valley Settlement Project. Speaking Spanish is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

Experience as a teacher/instructor preferred.
