What We’re Looking For
WC+A is looking for a full-time Art Director. An Art Director must be fluent in Photoshop and Illustrator. They must have a good understanding of typography, composition, and the creative process. Teamwork and collaboration are essential, along with effective communication. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, task-oriented, solution-driven and excited to work in Entertainment.
This role will report directly to the Creative Director (CD) and the VP, Strategy.
How You’ll Contribute
Design creative concepts for multiple clients
Follow creative direction from the CD or VP, Strategy
Ideate, concept, and build comps from beginning to end
Maintain style guides, art assets, and graphics standards (and related documentation)
Manage quality assurance by proofreading and reviewing client notes while staying true to a client’s brief
Execute the creative process given by the CD to completion
Meet with the creative director to explain campaign strategies and solutions
Review work, troubleshoot and provide feedback
Collaborate with members to develop strategies for campaigns
Mentor other designers
Produce presentations in a clean and orderly way
Other duties as assigned
Who You Are
Intermediate skills in Photoshop and Illustrator
At least 5+ years of proven experience in a design company, advertising agency or in-house creative environment
Possess a sophisticated sense of digital design, composition, color, typography and strong, strategic conceptual skills
Ability to articulate creative ideas and “sell” your work to your team
Experience with the Google Suite (Meet, Slides, Sheets, etc.)
Ability to be mentored and growth mindset
Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Detail-oriented, has good follow-through, can multitask, and works well under tight deadlines
Ability to approach a problem from multiple viewpoints
Ability to work through problems with a team that values collaboration and feedback
Ability to think beyond the task at hand and identify blockers and improvements

Compensation Expectations:
The starting base compensation range for this position is $108,572 - $145,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s certifications, location, prior experience, and qualifications.
