Important
The purpose of this position is to develop creative concepts that align with creative strategy and help establish and communicate the visual expression of our brand. The Art Director also directs the execution of these concepts through internal and external resources. This position is responsible for directing photo and video shoots, as well as illustration, motion and digital components.

- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. Onsite for Shoots
- Must have a strong portfolio that includes photo shoot art direction & social media art direction
- 5+ years experience
- Must be hands on and be able to design in addition to art direction
The purpose of this position is to develop creative concepts that align with creative strategy and help establish and communicate the visual expression of our brand. The Art Director also directs the execution of these concepts through internal and external resources. This position is responsible for directing photo and video shoots, as well as illustration, motion and digital components.
Job Duties And Accountability
- Presenting concepts to Creative leadership, Marketing partners and VP of Marketing; demonstrating how concepts meet objectives and making recommendations on best solutions.
- Collaborating with internal and external creative resources to develop campaigns that reach across multiple forms of media, such as in-store, outdoor, direct mail, broadcast television, digital and video.
- Aligning concepts to business objectives and target customer for maximum effectiveness.
- Directing internal and external creative resources to develop various components of concepts (for example: illustrations, storyboards, etc.)
- Executing concepts by utilizing expert knowledge of computer and graphic software.
- Meeting with Creative leadership and Marketing partners to understand needs and assist in determining tactics (including but not limited to: ads, brochures, posters, packaging, signs, logos, digital executions, videos, radio and television commercials) as necessary.
- Reviewing project request documentation (project briefs, project details, etc.) to understand request in detail.
- Partnering with internal and external creative resources to discuss creative intent and provide direction to bring the chosen concept to life.
- Art directing design and production work of internal and external resources to ensure the executions deliver on the approved concept.
- Art directing photographers, directors, broadcast producers, art producers and illustrators regarding creative intent, lighting, subject matter, styling and props.
- Attending photo and video shoots and providing direction to the photographer and/or director to maintain creative intent.
