Kaak North America, Inc is hiring an Area Sales Manager covering the South - Southeast area. The company is part of Royal Kaak (headquarters in the Netherlands), a leading provider of solutions for the bakery industry since 1846. Royal Kaak solutions range from stand alone machines to complete automated and integrated turn-key lines.


Position

The primary goal of the Area Sales Manager is to drive new business revenue and margin within the designated sales area by cultivating and nurturing strategic customer relationships. Reporting to the Managing Director of Kaak North America, Inc., the Area Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in commercial development, account management, and achieving targeted results.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans in collaboration with Kaak's teams.
  • Direct and manage sales processes, involving all necessary stakeholders to meet objectives efficiently.
  • Offer integrated solutions to clients, tailoring propositions to their needs.
  • Monitor market trends translating them into actionable proposals.
  • Provide input for operational and strategic planning
  • Collaborate closely with product management and development teams.
  • Maintain CRM data accuracy and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Expand customer relationships and enhance brand awareness.
  • Ensure smooth handling of deliveries, complaints, and inquiries.
  • Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Generate leads and manage pre-sales processes.
  • Assist in reviewing sales contracts.
  • Contribute to sales and marketing tactics within the Kaak Group strategy.
  • Lead client sales meetings and organize quotations and project layouts.
  • Attend relevant industry congresses and trade fairs to stay updated on market developments.


Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or similar.
  • A minimum of 10 years sales experience in the Food industry selling large integrated machinery lines with a successful track record.
  • Hunter mentality with an ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Self starter with entrepreneurial mindset and a strong track record of meeting and exceeding targets .
  • Detail-oriented with excellent negotiation and networking skills.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter and Independent worker.
  • Team player with demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization.
  • Proactive and persuasive with a talent for deal-making.
  • Proficient in sales engineering and communication.
  • A willingness to travel extensively.
