Areas of responsibility will be Atlanta, GA, Montgomery, Alabama, Raleigh, North Carolina and Columbia, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
The Area Sales Manager is primarily responsible for executing field sales strategy, achieving sales objectives, and providing direction and leadership to multiple Account Executives, Marketing Representatives and Team Leads.
Provide weekly reporting to your team as to their progress.
Drive area performance to deliver on training objectives, grow brand awareness, and meet established KPI's
Set performance standards and identify methods to achieve, audit, and constantly improve results
Schedule and conduct regular face-to-face meetings and/or ride-alongs with direct reports
Participate in developing various processes, call reports, and training materials to support the Sales Reps and Marketing Reps
Schedule weekly team conference calls to keep the Account Executives, Marketing Representatives and Team Leads on the same page, and ensure they are being effective in achieving all objectives.
Manage all aspects of the region's hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, disciplining, and motivating
Set performance standards and identify methods to achieve, audit, and constantly improve results
Schedule and conduct regular face-to-face meetings and/or ride-alongs
Possess observational, analytical, and communication skills to ensure store-level conditions, trends, and competitive insights are recognized, captured, and reported on
Ensure the region has the tools and resources necessary to meet goals and objectives
Drives focus to the team on a daily, weekly and monthly basis with sales calls, conference calls, and email reporting
Holds team accountable for achieving the goals (Number of visits, new accounts, activations)
Education
At least 4 years’ experience in a similarly situated sales role.
Prepaid Wireless Sales Experience Required
Some college preferred
Solid sales experience with excellent negotiation skills
Technical and non-technical communication skills, including strong verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills
Flexible and able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
Self-Motivated, Team Oriented, Goal Oriented and Strong Attention to Detail
Exceptional presentation skills
Solid Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel as required
