Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic **Area Sales Manager** to join our team and cover the **Central Pennsylvania territory**. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent customer service skills, and a deep understanding of the food distribution industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Sales Management:** Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets within the Central Pennsylvania territory.
- **Customer Relationship Management:** Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, and identify opportunities to expand our customer base.
- **Market Analysis:** Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new sales opportunities and areas for growth.
- **Product Knowledge:** Maintain in-depth knowledge of Driscoll Foods’ product offerings and effectively communicate this to customers and the sales team.
- **Reporting:** Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets for senior management.
- **Travel:** Regular travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients and team members.
Qualifications:
- **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in a sales role, preferably in the food distribution industry.
- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not mandatory.
- **Skills:** Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic sales plans.
- **Technology:** Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- **Other:** Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the Central Pennsylvania region.
