Area Operations Manager
Sodexo Government is seeking an Area Operations Manager to support our contract with the United States Air Force. The Area Operations Manager-East is a remote position overseeing food operations at 6 Air Force bases in the eastern US: Illinois, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, North Dakota and Delaware.
The role is suited to someone who has effective oral and written communication skills, has a keen eye for detail, and is analytical in their approach to their work. They are primarily involved with maintaining a collaborative environment with the military leadership, organizational food and physical safety initiatives, reporting and monitoring teams and individual performance, as well as overseeing the application of company standards, policies, and behaviors. This ideal candidate supports the district retention and expansion efforts, ensuring high standards of our contractual requirements
The Area Operations Manager will report to the district manager and support various assignments as directed by the district manager within our Air Force contract. Sodexo’s Air Force contract continues to grow, there will be a great opportunity for this position to grow while leading the charge at this new account.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 5 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in operations
