Responsibilities:

·      Preparing architectural drawings, assist with code research, coordinate construction drawings, develop design ideas, attend client meetings, visit job sites, generate as-built drawings, and work collaboratively with teammates.

·      Exposure to all phases of project development and it is expected that you will participate and contribute to design discussions, idea generation, and both technical and design work.

·      Work product includes analog drawing, digital modeling, CAD drafting, technical writing, graphic design, and page layout.

·      In addition, you will at times attend project, client, and agency meetings with the principal architect and interact with and be a positive representative of the company to clients and contractors.


Architectural Designer Preferred Qualifications:

·      5+ years of experience of permit production in the field of architecture, or a Master’s degree in lieu of work experience

·      Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture

·      Any combination of residential, multi-family residential, or commercial design experience

·      AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign skills

·      Thorough knowledge of building codes

·      Excellent presentation, verbal, written, and graphics communication skills

·      Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents

·      Understand major building systems, detailing, and constructability


Compensation range: $65,000-$85,000 depending on experience
