A global brokerage firm is hiring a HYBRID Architectural Design Lead near the Atlanta, GA metro for a PERMANENT opportunity. Individuals must be comfortable with traveling up to 10% of the time. The primary responsibility of this role is serve as the internal champion for code reviews, technical content, and production of contract documents.

Architectural Design Lead Requirements:

  • 5+ years of employment experience working on commercial architecture projects.
  • 2+ years of employment experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or another relevant area of expertise.
  • Extensive knowledge of building codes and accessibility guidelines with the ability to research and interpret on a consistent basis.
  • Excellent space planning capabilities with a focus on creating efficiencies while driving innovative planning.


Architectural Design Lead Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the construction administration process in assuring work orders and products are in compliance with documented design content.
  • Partner with studio lead to contribute to proposal content and workflow planning, as well as to complete assigned projects.
  • Communicate concepts/ideas to effectively manage and staff projects and deadlines
  • Collaborate with architects to assure work is produced to best-in-class standards, in-line with project design intent and translatable to buildable solutions.
  • Spearhead and oversee documentation produced by the team, redlining drawings, coaching, and mentoring team members on technical aspects of work products and quality control policies and procedures.


Architectural Design Lead Soft Skills:

  • Must have an entrepreneurial attitude and be self-motivated to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to excel under pressure to meet deadlines and prioritize assignments.
  • Must have superb communication, with a keen ability to inquire effectively and swiftly grasp operational protocols.
  • Excellent proficiency in driving momentum and progression.
