Architectural AutoCAD Drafter in Cincinnati, OH

Position Overview

  • Draft/detail aluminum curtain wall, storefront, skylight, & panel systems utilizing AutoCAD.
  • Prepare shop drawings including plans, elevations, sections & detail drawings developed from project design documents and

specifications.

  • Shop drawings will be used by project management & field personnel to successfully complete the project.
  • Use shop drawings to prepare fabrication drawings for the specific project.
  • Fabrication drawings include part, assembly, & operation drawings, as well as material take-offs, part lists, & detailed process

instructions.

  • Fabrication & shop drawings will be used by our factory for manufacturing & assembly for successful field installation.

Education

  • Associates or Bachelor of Arts Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or related discipline.

Experience Requirements

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD drafting software is mandatory.
  • Revit & Inventor experience is always a plus, however it is not mandatory.
  • Capability to produce accurate & thorough work, with special attention to identifying potential problem areas and proposing solutions.
  • Strong work history & references on past positions held. Construction / Manufacturing / Fenestration Industry experience a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with and work within a team environment.
  • Strong time management habits and ability to remain focused on extended tasks.
  • Self-motivator, proactive, & willing to take on new challenges.
  • Knowledge of: glazing, windows, and ornamental metals would be a definite plus.
