Position Summary:
Entry level professional architectural/designer performing basic architectural/designer I assignments. Performs a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard architectural techniques for small projects or selected segments of a larger project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Performs design layouts and features, which require researching, compiling, and recording information for assigned project work.
• Implements the development of preliminary presentations and construction documentation.
• Provides architectural/design assistance for various projects.
• General to intermediate knowledge in industry standards regarding architectural design, quality, graphics, terminology, and information provided on contract drawings.
• Implements the development of preliminary presentations and construction documentation.
• Ability to work with design teams on multiple projects at once and meets project deadlines.
• General ability to coordinate work with project engineers.
• Basic to intermediate skill/knowledge in Revit and other design software platforms.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.
Mathematical Ability:
Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
General knowledge in Revit, Photoshop, Bluebeam. Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Certificates and Licenses: None: If licensed title will be Architect I and if non-licensed, title will be Designer I.
