Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Architect/Designer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience and a strong portfolio showcasing their design capabilities. This role requires a passion for design, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design Development: Lead the design development process for various projects, ensuring creative and functional solutions that meet client needs and project goals.

- Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution from concept to completion.

- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their vision and requirements, presenting design concepts and incorporating feedback to achieve desired outcomes.

- Technical Documentation: Produce detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents using industry-standard software.

- Sustainability: Integrate sustainable design principles and practices into projects, advocating for environmentally responsible solutions.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field from an accredited institution.

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional architectural design experience.

- Licensure: Licensed Architect in the state of Maryland (preferred but not required).

- Strong design and visualization skills, with proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED certification processes
