Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Application Support Specialist to join our team in the Legal industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about technology and looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will provide technical support for various applications and systems, ensuring that our legal professionals have the tools they need to deliver outstanding service to our clients. This is a permanent role that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as the chance to work with a team of dedicated and highly skilled professionals. This is an onsite role for a period of training, but will become a hybrid role (3 days remote and 2 onsite) post training.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second level support to end users for various applications and software, troubleshooting issues and ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Manage and resolve incidents through ServiceNow, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Maintain and administer Office365, Active Directory, LAN, and WAN.
  • Perform routine checks and monitor systems to ensure security and performance.
  • Collaborate with IT team to develop and implement new software applications.
  • Provide training and guidance to users to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and technical developments.
  • Work closely with the legal team to understand their needs and ensure technology solutions align with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a Application Support, IT Support, or similar role
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office, iManage, LegalBar, Docket Enterprise, and Interaction is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10, Active Directory, and Office365.
  • Prior law firm experience is highly desired.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of the legal industry and the specific needs of legal professionals.
