Position Summary:

This role is pivotal in delivering expert application consulting and pre-sales support tailored to meet the intricate technical demands of the Automotive Production and General Industry sector. Responsibilities span from commissioning sophisticated Kistler systems and customizing integrated solutions to training clients, conducting acceptance tests, and serving as the primary technical liaison. Additionally, the position plays a crucial role in supporting the localization of SST production (joining) in Buffalo, aligning closely with our long-term localization strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning complex customer specific Kistler systems.
  • Custom parameterization and configuration of Integrated Solutions from Kistler to meet customer needs.
  • Development and testing of new functionalities based on customer requirements.
  • Adjustment and calibration of Kistler systems.
  • Final acceptance responsibility for Kistler systems at customer sites.
  • Conduct in-house and on-site training sessions for customers.
  • Analyze errors and define corrective measures.
  • Prepare customer documentation including maintenance manuals, operating instructions, etc.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for customers.
  • Define service & maintenance strategies based on customer requirements.
  • Provide application consulting and pre-sales support.
  • Maintain close communication with other departments.
  • Contribute to market & business development initiatives with other departments.


Qualifications:

  • Background in electronics, electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, or related fields, coupled with extensive practical experience.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, preferably in TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT3, or Allen Bradley.
  • Familiarity with Kistler products is advantageous.
  • Experience in automation technology (electrical and mechanical) is highly desirable.
  • Strong initiative, independence, and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • A collaborative team player with adaptability and flexibility.
