Lead IT Application Analyst with Aveva

Remote – possible occasional travel to Charlotte for meetings

Must reside in EST or CST time zone

12+ Months

MUST BE STRONG IN AVEVA (Used to be OSI PI, now called Aveva PI)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline
  • 10+ years experience within application support/analysis
  • 5+ years of experience with the installation, configuration, and monitoring of Aveva PI System servers, interfaces, and user tools
  • 5+ years of experience as a system administrator of Aveva PI System
  • 5+ years of experience with Aveva PI System tag creation, tag monitoring, and tag maintenance
  • 5+ years of experience with performance optimization and monitoring system health for the Aveva PI System
  • 3+ years of experience with PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework, PI Asset Analytics, PI Event Frames, PI Vision, and PI Notifications
  • Experience with the monitoring and maintenance of Aveva PI System security and the deployment of patches
  • Experience with Windows system administration (2018, 2016, and 2012)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with external vendors of software packages and coordinate deliverables between internal and external teams
  • Able to pass NERC background checks
  • Able to provide periodic 24x7 on-call support

Desired Qualifications: Experience with Python or PowerShell Scripting

  • Experience in Microsoft .NET application development or Python or Shell Scripting
