Defines system architecture and design alternatives/solutions by translating business and technical requirements
Communicate with business users/stakeholders to understand their requirements (the responsibility to lead the meetings, run workshops and training sessions)
Makes recommendations on business process improvements via the use of information technologies
Performs requirements analysis, development, design, test, and deployment of internal Oracle APEX applications
Preparations of the systems documentation like architecture diagrams, integration plans, technical documentation for applications
Develops, supports, and maintains internally developed systems for Finance, HT, Logistic, Research Finance
Reverse engineer existing applications, including data integrations, and troubleshoot any on-demand problems
Works on multiple projects including complex integration efforts and transitioning applications to new technologies
Continuously identifies opportunities for application improvements, performance tuning and resolving issues
Explores different solution, the risks, benefits and impact
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming including Data Types, Cursors, Exception Handling, Views, Materialized Views, Functions and Packages, database triggers, Dynamic SQLs, Performance Tuning
Experience developing and supporting Apex applications and knowledge of installation and configuration of Oracle APEX (preferred versions 4.2 and 20.2)
Experience With Oracle Databases (preferred Versions 11g, 19c)
Experience with Ellucian Banner and Ellucian ODS Specifically Banner 8 and 9/ODS 9, OFM/WebLogic, E-Procurement, Evisions, IntelleCheck, Ellucian Page Builder, with installation, upgrades, and customer support
Experience working with Banner functionality like file upload
Experience working with Linux, Windows Servers as the operating systems
Experience with providing documentation on all work products and creating operational manuals
Special Requirements
Experience supporting Finance, Human Resources, Budget, Office of Logistics Management, Procurement, Research Grants, Cash Management, Patient Billing stakeholders
Considerable knowledge of critical business workflow processes like payroll file creation, Tax 1099/1098, Check Escheating, Fixed Assets, Apex management of Banner journal entries, Apex management of Employee and vendor payments
