Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable instructor to teach an AP Psychology online course on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching AP Psychology, a strong grasp of the subject matter, and a dedication to fostering success in the AP Exam.
Key Responsibilities
Teach AP Psychology: Deliver comprehensive and engaging online lessons that cover the AP Psychology curriculum and prepare students for the AP exam.
Student Engagement: Utilize digital tools and interactive teaching methods to create a stimulating online learning environment.
Assessment and Feedback: Design and administer assessments, provide timely and constructive feedback, and monitor student progress.
Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the curriculum team to develop and refine course materials, ensuring alignment with AP standards.
Virtual Office Hours: Offer additional support through virtual office hours and help sessions to address student questions and provide guidance.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology or a related field from a top-ranked university.
Experience: 2-5 years of experience teaching AP Psychology or related subjects. Online teaching experience is a plus.
Skills: Proficiency with online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom) and strong communication skills.
AP Certification: AP certification or training in Psychology is highly desirable.
