Role Responsibilities:
Assist the Veterinary Surgeon in administering anesthesia to patients
Monitor vital signs and anesthesia depth during surgical and sedated procedures
Maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies
Provide post-anesthetic care and monitor patients during recovery
Collaborate with the care team to ensure the safety and well-being of all patients
Requirements:
CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician) or VTS (Veterinary Technician Specialist) in Anesthesia preferred
Minimum of 2 years experience working as an anesthesia technician or similar surgical role
Strong knowledge of anesthesia protocols and monitoring techniques
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners
Willingness to participate in continuing education (CE) and training opportunities.
