They seek an Analytical Chemist who is professional, motivated, talented and enjoys working with high-profile clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform analytical chemistry assays based on new and existing methodologies.
Operate analytical instrumentation such as GC, Electronic Hygrometer, Titrator, Rateometric Colorimetry, Sulfur and Mercury Analyzer.
Develop, establish, and validate analytical testing methodology used to control raw materials, production intermediates, and final products.
Ensure all laboratory instruments are maintained and in good working condition.
Write technical reports to document analytical methods and transfer them to the QC department.
Set up new or existing analytical methods for identifying compounds.
Coordinate off-site testing as necessary.
Conduct testing of analytical samples for Production
Develop and conduct customer commercial presentations in support of sales and marketing efforts.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
2- or 4-year degree with a focus in Chemistry or another related field.
Minimum 2 years of industry experience.
Specialized training for GC, GC/MS, Sulfur, and Mercury Analyzers is preferred.
Chemical/refinery background a plus, Aerosol background a plus.
