Description

This role offers a unique opportunity to join an expert team dedicated to providing top-tier real estate services to a diverse range of clients. The Analyst will support the Real Estate Services team by conducting detailed market research, trade area analysis, occupancy cost analysis, and market valuation assessments. Additionally, other responsibilities include reporting, analytics, and database management, along with entry-level transaction management activities such as lease renewals, lease terminations, and property dispositions.

The ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge of real estate principles and methodology, the ability to utilize market research tools to prepare action reports, an understanding of real estate documents including leases and purchase agreements, and the ability to prepare financial models and client reports as well as execute entry-level deal negotiations.

  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct in-depth market research to gather and analyze data on current market trends and conditions.
  • Perform trade area analysis providing strategic insight to senior team members on customer profiles and segmentation, quantify demand potential, forecast retail node viability, anticipate sales cannibalization and transfer among other key client metrics.
  • Prepare comprehensive market valuation assessments and other analytical reports to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Reporting and Database Management:
  • Manage and maintain transaction management and lease administration databases, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal use and client engagements.
  • Utilize Excel skills to conduct detailed data analysis and generate insightful reports.
  • Transaction Management:
  • Conduct entry-level transaction management activities, including lease renewals, terminations, and property dispositions.
  • Assist in negotiation activities under the mentorship of senior team members, developing foundational negotiation skills.
  • Ensure all transaction documentation is accurate, complete, and complies with industry standards.
  • Project Support:
  • Assist senior team members in the execution and coordination of complex projects.
  • Provide robust analytical and administrative support on client projects, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Participate actively in project meetings, contributing insights and supporting the development of project strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in commercial real estate or a related field, with a strong interest in the real estate industry.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in Excel for advanced data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ambition, motivation, and a proactive approach to professional growth within the real estate industry.
