Reporting to the Senior Manager of Customer Data Analysis, the Analyst will be responsible for extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from various sources to support our business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation and have a strong foundation in coding, preferably in Python. The candidate will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and usability.
Ideal candidate will live in one of the following states (VA, MD, PA, DC).

Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and process raw data from multiple sources
- Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data efficiently
- Implement data governance practices to ensure data integrity, privacy, and security
- Take ownership of understanding data lineage and definitions to support accurate analysis and decision-making
- Perform data quality checks and resolve any discrepancies or issues with existing reports and dashboards
- Collaborate with teams to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights
- Create and maintain documentation related to data processes and workflows
- Contribute to the development of data-driven strategies and decision-making processes
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field and 1+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.; OR
- Relevant professional development training (e.g. bootcamps, certifications) in conjunction with 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role
- Strong understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with data visualization tools such as AWS QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI
- Experience working with AWS cloud services and tools for data analysis, pipelines, and database management
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and modeling techniques
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with non-technical stakeholders
