This position will work closely with in-house council in managing accounts that have been escalated to Legal due to non-payment of open balances . The Credit Analyst will e n gage regularly w i t h C r ed i t & Collections M a n age r s as well as Operational Leadership i n o r de r t o en su r e prop e r i nv o l v e m e n t i n t h e c r ed i t management pro cess

Wages

Starting wage will depend on experience and education. $71,500 to $80,200

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completes due dil i gence process for new customer credit applications , including D&B review, Secretary of State research, fraud prevention, and financia l statement anal y sis (as needed) , to e v a l uate ne w customers for credit as per company guideline. Ass i gns I i mits up to cred i t appro v al authori ty l e v e l or ma k es recommendat i on for cred i t I im i t for an y request h i gher than authori ty l e v e l
  • Engage with regional sales reps early to assist in structuring deals that support the customer’s needs while also mitigating the company’s risk in securing payment; support onboarding of company sales reps with respect to credit processes
  • Serve as the primary administrator of the online credit application process and tool, including acting as the liaison to the third party provider of the tool
  • D e v elop a protoco l for the Credit D epartment to use in e v a l uat i ng w hether or not to release transact i ons that e x ceed a c ustomer ' s c redit l i mit; proactively review account limits to minimize administrative processes when accounts exceed their limit
  • D e v elop reporting and communicat i on processes for credit I i mits and e x posures to ensure O perations i s a w are of customers ' credit l i mits and ho w much the y ha v e a v a il able aga i nst them
  • Collaborate w i th Credit & Collections M anagers and O perations personnel to ensure a w areness of customers ' spend against the i r l i mits and an y necessa ry act i ons
  • Work closely with the Credit Support Manager to d eterm i ne if ac c ounts or customers are el i gib l e for Li en or B ond r i ght not i c es based on state or l o c al statutes
  • Work closely with outside financing, including equipment financing team, to evaluate and onboard new customers
  • Ad ho c report i ng and special projects as determined b y Senior Cred i t & Banking M anager may be assigned


Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

A B a c he l or ' s degree in related fie l d from an ac c red i ted c ollege and 2 to 5 y ears cred i t ana l y s i s e x perience is preferred ; or equ i v a l ent combinat i ons of education and e x perience . Excellent communication skills are critical for success in this role. To be effective, an individual should have knowledge of all Microsoft Office Programs, in particular Excel, and be proficient in their usage. Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy is required.
