About Our Client

Our client is a large, foreign, International Bank. With it's full-fledged services, our client specialize in corporate lending, international trade services, treasury business, U.S. dollar clearing, retail banking, correspondent banking and various other lines of business.

Job Description

  • Lead the annual updates process for the product risk rating methodology
  • Validating the product risk rating process and new product approval; processes
  • Assist the team with updating and enhancing the BSA/AML and OFAC risk assessment methodology
  • Communicating any sensitive information to senior enhancement and/or regulators when needed
  • Calculate control assessment scores and communicate findings
  • Identify any gaps and weaknesses within the bank
  • Engage with stakeholders to discuss the business, control functions and support for the division on risk assessment
  • Assist with the ERA process
  • Focus on metrics to help and manage existing and potential compliance risks
  • Assist with incorporating BSA/AML and OFAC risks
  • Analyze any risk assessment factors
  • Obtain and monitor any sensitive documentation for these procedures
  • Maintain and track information to help identify control assessment gaps and coordinate with other stakeholders on this information

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5-7 years within financial services
  • Law degree or CAMS certified is preferred but not required
  • Prior experience with BSA/AML and OFAC related work with conducting risk assessments
  • Exposure to speaking directly with senior management and stakeholders
  • Excellent reading, writing and communication skills
  • Strong power point skills A
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Local to Midtown NYC

What's on Offer
